Two new models added to Narva’s revolutionary ‘Explora’ L.E.D Light Bar Range

Launched in late 2017, Narva’s original ‘Explora’ L.E.D Driving Light Bar (Part No. 72272) revolutionised the compact light bar market with the introduction of ‘Advanced Optic Drive Technology’. This feature helped the light provide up to 30 per cent brighter light output (2400 Lumens and 1 Lux of light at 269 metres), compared to a conventional L.E.D light bar*.
Building on its initial 14” single row Explora bar, Narva is now offering a further two models for customers requiring even more light but still seeking the original Explora Light Bar’s sleek and slimline design.
The new 22” single row bar (Part No. 72274) is equipped with 18 x 5W high-powered L.E.Ds, producing an impressive 3,589 Lumens and 1 lux of crisp white light at 345m, while the 22” Double Row model (Part No. 72282) ups the stakes with its 36 x 5W L.E.Ds producing 6,217 Lumens and 1 Lux of brightness at 460m.
All three models feature ‘Advanced Optic Drive Technology’ which incorporates a special reflector profile that more efficiently captures the light and concentrates the focus to achieve greater light penetration down the road. Another common feature across the range is Narva’s ‘Active Thermal Management System’ which allow the lights to operate harder for longer without overheating.
As well as offering a bigger punch for their size, buyers can rest assured that the entire Explora line-up has been built to withstand Australia’s demanding weather conditions, with the lights being able to handle temperature extremes of between -30°C and 65°C.
Given the tough applications Australian users will likely pit their lights against, the Explora range is constructed using a durable one-piece diecast aluminium housing without end caps for superior heat dissipation plus a virtually unbreakable hard coated polycarbonate lens which together provide for dust and water ingress protection to IP68 and IP69K.
Both of the 22” models also benefit from a genuine breather vent for additional heat dispersion.
High quality features of the lamps also extend to the mounting hardware which includes stainless steel brackets and a pre-wired weatherproof Deutsch® connector for easy installation.
While all the bars in the 9-32V multi-voltage Explora L.E.D Driving Light Bar range offer high output, the lights also enjoy low current draw: 2.6A at 12V / 1.3A at 24V for the 14”; 3.7A at 12V / 1.9A at 24V for the 22” and 6.6A at 12V for the double row 22”.
To complement the Explora range, Narva offers a number of accessories including alternative mounting bracket options that allow them to be fitted directly to bull bar tube using three bracket sizes available: 2”/50.8mm diameter; 2.5”/63.5mm diameter and 3”/76.2mm diameter.
For the 14” Explora bar, there’s also a neat 350mm powder coated steel licence plate bracket (Part No.72292), providing easy fitment to vehicles that don’t have a bull bar. Alternatively the 14” light bar and number plate bracket can be purchased as a complete set (Part No. 72273).
Capping off the accessories is a quality Narva wiring harness package (Part No. 74401) containing everything required to ensure a professional installation, ensuring the lights work at their best.
Narva’s Explora L.E.D Driving Light Bar range is backed by a 5-year L.E.D warranty and can be purchased along with associated accessories from leading automotive, 4WD and transport outlets throughout Australia.
