Brighter Narva ‘Pulse II’ LED Strobe/Rotator Backed by 10yr Warranty

Narva has released an updated version of its most popular LED Strobe/Rotator beacon model, offering users significantly higher light output, as well as a market-leading 10-year warranty.

The heavy-duty ‘Pulse II’ LED Strobe/Rotator boasts light output that is five times brighter than its predecessor, while the strobe patterns have also been enhanced with a three-fold increase in brightness over the earlier model.

Pulse II’s impressive lighting performance comes courtesy of higher output, upward-facing LEDs, along with a precise reflector and lens design. Together, these enhancements allow Pulse II to comfortably exceed SAE Class 1 requirements for both its flash and rotate patterns, a benchmark that many of its competitors fail to match. The precision optics also ensure a smoother rotating pattern.

The increased light output of Pulse II sees the introduction of a night mode, which dims the lamp in dark operating conditions, reducing the chance it dazzles others on the work site. Night mode can either be set-up as an independent switch, or wired into the vehicle’s park light circuit.

A further benefit of Pulse II is its quiet operation. Within heavy duty applications, Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) can become a major issue, but this isn’t a problem for the new lamp as it’s certified CISPR25 Class 3, ensuring no interference.

In building on the tough underpinnings of its predecessor, Pulse II features a heavy-duty die-cast base, polycarbonate lens and solid-state circuitry which has been upgraded to provide even more vibration-resistance. The new design even underwent and comfortably passed a military spec vibration test.

Sealing on the Pulse II has also been enhanced and meets IP69K requirements, making it suitable for pressure washing at high heat. Additionally, for easier maintenance and longevity, the lens design was updated for a smoother exterior, reducing the likelihood of dust and grime getting trapped on the lamp and reducing its brightness over time.

Pulse II is available in both Amber and Amber with Clear Lens models. Each has eight flash patterns: Single, Quad, Quint (SAE), Ultra, Steady On, Rotator (125rpm SAE), Rotator (94rpm) and Rotator Quint (SAE).
