NARVA MICROLUX Work Light Series Recognised at the 2026 Australian Good Design Awards

NARVA is proud to announce that the MICROLUX LED Work Light Series has been recognised as a 2026 Australian Good Design Award Winner in the Product Design – Automotive and Transport category.
The Australian Good Design Awards are Australia’s longest-running international design awards, recognising excellence in design, innovation and impact. Established in 1958, the Awards celebrate products, services and projects that demonstrate the power of good design to solve problems, improve experiences and create positive change.
For the MICROLUX LED Work Light Series, the recognition reflects what the range was designed to achieve: powerful, precise illumination in an ultra-compact and highly adaptable platform.
Compact Design. Serious Performance.

The MICROLUX LED Work Light Series was developed to provide a versatile lighting solution for demanding commercial, industrial and off-road applications.
Its compact, lightweight design helps make installation straightforward, while integrated Total Internal Reflection (TIR) optics deliver precise beam control and exceptional efficiency from a minimal footprint.
Available across a range of sizes, beam options, output colours, trims and mounting configurations, the scalable MICROLUX platform allows lighting to be integrated into applications where space, performance and durability all matter.
This combination caught the attention of the Australian Good Design Awards Jury.
“The Jury recognises the NARVA MICROLUX LED Work Light Series for its clever and effective approach to platform scalability, delivering powerful illumination in an ultra-compact form factor.”
The Jury also commended the range’s TIR optics, adaptability and focus on practical performance, noting its ability to expand lighting integration possibilities across demanding commercial and industrial environments.
Design and Engineering Collaboration
The MICROLUX LED Work Light Series was designed and developed by the BWI Design and Engineering teams in Australia and the USA, bringing together expertise across both markets to create a highly adaptable lighting platform.
For NARVA, receiving a 2026 Australian Good Design Award is recognition of the thinking behind the range, not simply how it looks.
Every element of MICROLUX has been developed around practical application, from its compact dimensions and mounting flexibility to its scalable platform and carefully controlled light output.
The result is a work light series designed to give vehicle manufacturers, installers, fleets and end users greater flexibility when integrating dependable lighting into their vehicles and equipment.
The 2026 Australian Good Design Awards are presented under the theme Design that Leads, celebrating the role of design in driving innovation, navigating complexity and creating positive change.
We’re incredibly proud to see MICROLUX recognised among this year’s winners and to have the innovation, engineering and collaboration behind the range acknowledged on one of the country’s most respected design stages.
