NARVA Takes on the Mountain at Bathurst 1000

A challenging weekend on the Mountain for Tickford Racing, with NARVA proudly supporting the team at Australia's Great Race.

The 2026 Bathurst 1000 delivered another action-packed weekend at Mount Panorama, with plenty of drama, excitement and unpredictable moments across Australia's most iconic motorsport event.

As a proud partner of Tickford Racing, NARVA was once again right in the thick of the action, supporting Cam Waters and Mark Winterbottom in the #6 Monster Energy Mustang, alongside Thomas Randle and Reuben Goodall in the #55 Castrol Mustang.

This year's event also saw additional NARVA branding featured on the rear quarter panels of the #55 Castrol Mustang, providing increased visibility for the brand throughout the weekend at one of Australia's biggest motorsport events.

A Challenging Weekend for Tickford Racing

While the team headed to Bathurst with high hopes, the Mountain proved challenging, with both Mustangs struggling to find the pace needed to compete towards the front of the field.

Qualifying saw Thomas Randle secure 13th position in the #55 Castrol Mustang, with Cam Waters starting just behind in 14th in the #6 Monster Energy Mustang.

Come race day, both driver pairings faced a demanding 161 laps around Mount Panorama, with tyre management and overall race pace proving challenging throughout the afternoon.

Despite the team's efforts to improve performance through strategy and pit stop adjustments, positions were difficult to gain.

Thomas Randle and Reuben Goodall brought the #55 Castrol Mustang home in 9th position, securing a top-ten finish after a hard-fought race.

Meanwhile, Cam Waters and Mark Winterbottom finished 15th in the #6 Monster Energy Mustang, rounding out a challenging day for the Tickford Racing team.

Although the results weren't what the team had hoped for, both cars made it to the chequered flag, with the drivers and crew continuing to push right through to the finish.

Another Unforgettable Bathurst 1000

As always, the Bathurst 1000 delivered plenty of excitement, with a dramatic final lap seeing race leader Anton De Pasquale run out of fuel, opening the door for Brodie Kostecki and Todd Hazelwood to claim victory.

It's moments like these that make Bathurst such a special event and remind us why it remains one of the highlights of the Australian motorsport calendar.

For NARVA, the weekend was another fantastic opportunity to showcase our partnership with Tickford Racing, with our branding proudly featured across both Mustangs and additional exposure on the #55 Castrol Mustang.

Despite a challenging weekend at Bathurst, there’s still plenty to look forward to for Tickford Racing, with Cam Waters having secured his place in the 2026 Supercars Finals. With the championship entering its final stages, Waters will be looking to finish the season strongly as he continues his fight for the title, with NARVA proudly supporting him and the team every step of the way.

Bring on the next round!
